Goosehead Ag is located in Lonoke County, Arkansas seven (7) miles southeast of the town of Lonoke and offers an excellent agricultural and recreational investment opportunity. The farm has good access from Bob Long Road and Henderson Road, both of which are graveled county-maintained roads. The farm is approximately 1,410± total acres in one contiguous block.

The farm has extensive irrigation systems in place and significant land leveling has been completed. The Farm Service Agency reports a total of 1,313.49± tillable acres of which all are irrigated. Of the tillable acres approximately 860.78± acres have been precision leveled with a fall, 173.71± acres have been leveled to a zero grade, 245.11± acres row water, and 33.89± acres levee water. The farm has ten (10) wells and seven (7) re-lifts that are, for the most part, connected by an extensive network of underground pipe. With over 5,000 feet of frontage along Bayou Meto, and three (3) tail water recovery pits that total approximately 25± acres, the farm has incredible surface water irrigation capabilities, allowing the producer to grow a strong amount of rice each year. The tillable acreage has historically been planted in soybean, corn, and rice. To complete this agricultural investment opportunity there is a headquarters site on Bob Long Road. The headquarters consists of a 3,500± square foot shop, of which 2,000± square feet is enclosed, and a 6,000± square foot equipment shed.

In addition to being a strong agricultural investment Goosehead Ag also provides outstanding waterfowl hunting opportunities in the fields. Part of the western portion of the farm borders Big Bayou Meto, and the eastern portion of the farm bordering the historic “Button Willow” club. The ownership has historically retained the hunting rights, but they could be leased to generate significant additional income to the landowner.
