Born and raised in Searcy, Dustin Roddy spent much of his youth hunting and fishing along the Cache and White rivers. From Beedeville and Gregory to Augusta and Des Arc, those years in eastern Arkansas’s flooded timber and bottomlands gave him a lasting appreciation for wildlife habitat and the land that supports it.

After graduating from Searcy High School in 2001, Dustin played college baseball and was drafted by the Chicago White Sox, Boston Red Sox and Cleveland Guardians organizations. He went on to play three professional seasons. Baseball helped shape the work ethic and persistence he brings to his work with landowners today.

Dustin became a licensed real estate agent in April 2016. Within months, he and his partners purchased their first farm, beginning a hands-on career in acquiring and improving recreational and agricultural land. Through Cache River Farms, he has developed his own properties and helped other landowners improve theirs, with a particular focus on waterfowl habitat.

Starting with tracts of 20 to 80 acres, Dustin learned firsthand how to evaluate raw ground, plan practical improvements and build long-term value. He has since connected buyers and investors with farms suited for recreation, row-crop production and wildlife development.

What Dustin enjoys most is seeing a property realize its potential—especially pulling up to a farm and finding waterfowl using ground that once held none. His approach reflects a commitment to sound land stewardship, productive habitat and the outdoor traditions that have been part of his life since childhood.
