David Stone is a seventh-generation Arkansan with a lifelong passion for the outdoors. Growing up in Monticello, he spent much of his youth exploring the outdoors and developing an interest in building. Those passions led him to pursue a career as a building and logging contractor. Certified in sustainable forestry practices, David founded Stone Timber Company, Inc. with his brother, Matt, in 1988. They continue to operate the company together today.

Seeking to expand his knowledge and expertise, David earned his Arkansas real estate license in 1993 and his broker’s license in 1995. In 2018, he received an Associate of Applied Science degree from Southern Arkansas University Tech. He has also completed Dale Carnegie certifications in tact and diplomacy, high-impact presentations, and effective communication and human relations.

David and his wife, Jessica, have been married for more than a decade and make their home in Magnolia. He serves on the Columbia Christian Academy School Board and previously served as a commissioner on the Camden Planning and Zoning Commission. In his free time, David is an avid reader, a car and motorcycle enthusiast, and a dedicated outdoorsman. He enjoys hunting deer, ducks, and elk in Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, and Texas. He is also an accomplished archer who has competed in numerous tournaments in both amateur and professional divisions.
